Title: Black Head Lining & Trims - Which Spec Golf..?

Hi,

Will be swapping my aerial for a DAB one soon and thinking of swapping to a Black interior at the same time. Did all MK5 R32’s have a Black interior..? Any other specific Golf’s..?

R32's had a white roof lining and pillar covers. Gti's had black roof and pillar lining.

I'm sure mines dark gray like my leather seats?

From 2007 onwards Gti had black roof lining and black trims , some late 2006 models had them also

My advice on headlining is get an earlier GTI 05, 06 headliner if you can… most of the later ones sag around the centre dome light and centre lights. Also if you have a later golf and get an earlier year headliner you need to potentially switch over the wiring that’s taped on the top.

That’s what’s happened to my current Grey one, sagged around the front centre lights!! Will bear this in mind..
