Title: getting oil out of clothes

okay i know this isnt to do with the mechanics of the gti, but im wondering if anyone knows how to get oil from clothes that works, ruined a brand new pair of joggers for the second time now,  would a strong solvent remove it like paint thinner ir white spirit

In my experience oil doesn't come out.

I have a cheap pair of overalls for playing cars.

Depends on the oil, sometimes brake cleaner gets stuff out.

really annoying, theirs only a few match head sized drops on the knee area where i was trying to guide a caravan up a steep drive knealt down and must have been a few drops , will try some solvent stuff

I would try rubbing in some swafega into the patch before washing the item.
