Does anyone have any clues as to what is happening here with all these little white dots?

It started a couple of months ago and has got progressively worse.

It's smooth to touch, seems to be coming from under the paint.

Possibly top coat worn/eroded away.  A bird sh1t did that to my roof.  The paint on these cars is super thin and cr@p

-
Thanks, will look into having it repaired.

Looks like a chemical reaction to me. Possibly had a localised repair using  incompatible paint.

-
To me it looks like a flake chipped off - there is meant to be a screw in the bumper just behind the blemish
 - is that still there?
if its missing it could be the bumper got caught and chipped the paint.

Had a look at the pic last night and I agree. It looks like a poor repair job unfortunately.

				moisture after poor paint job
