Now happily running mk5 GTI front seats (SO comfy and supportive!)  in my fabia - but there is one thing which is confusing me and I don't see why it should.....

How the hell do you move the headrests up and down?  I cannot see any logical bit to push/squeeze/bash/break....  As it happens they are in a good position anyway, but would like to know for the future.  Thanks  :driver:

There is a button on the side of the headrests  :happy2:

-
There is is a little tab on the collar thats sits on the hole were the head rest rods slide in, i think there is only one per headrest.  :happy2:

Are you sure TC? Mine do not have this. They have an actual button on the side of the headrest.

Thanks guys  :happy2:  Not sure how I didn't see those, but then I think at the time I was cursing and swearing at the passenger seat, knelt in the drivers seat, so never saw the button.  Having said that, surprised I never actually felt a button....

 There was definitely no collar.

Just out of interest do the rears have the same button on the head rest.

Rears are just normal ones, with the button on the plastic bit attached to the seat (or at least they are on my 05 GTI with Leather).
