Title: How much is this going to set me back folks?

All 4 windows doing this  :ashamed:

It's not the seals unfortunately as I soaked them in WD40 which made no difference.

Sorry to hijack your thread, I’ve no idea what that’ll cost to replace but I’ve just noticed from your video that the drivers window should have auto up and mine doesn’t work. I’ve only had it a few weeks and just assumed the drivers window didn’t have it haha! Any idea how to sort it?

Was it fine before this extreme heat?

Sounds like the runners are too tight......maybe the heat has made some of the door expand, removing the tollerance for the glass to free run maybe.

It's done it since I've had the car mate, which is getting on for a year now.  It's looking like 4 x new window regulators  :grin:

Not sure on the auto windows Slynch, I assume it's the same as the MK5 where you hold the button for 10 seconds when it's bottomed out and topped out?  If not, there's probably a setting in VCDS somewhere.
