Title: Air con common leak areas?

I have a 07 mk5 gti and it has a slow air con leak which takes about 10 days to run down. Any ideas of common places to look?
I don't mind taking it to a specialist as R-tech, VW main dealer and Maxtreme Ltd look after the car but I am too busy with work.
My friend has a garage and changed the condenser and put an aircon leak sealer in (I know guys I am an idiot but was desperate for a quick fix) but no joy.

Also does anyone know a aircon specialist in London or West Norfolk?

If a dye was added have you tried looking for the leak with a torch? There aren’t that many hoses to trace.

Yep, ask your friend if he put UV dye in it.

Draining down in 10 days is quite a big leak and should be easy to spot with a UV torch.

Mine was leaking from aircon rad welds had failed plus had a hose leak to. New rad and hose sorted the prob out was fine fil car was scrapped 😰😰😰😰😰😰😰
