Title: Are MK5 and MK6 passenger dash airbags the same?

I'm assuming so? Got a code saying it's the ignitor on mine that won't go away so going to attempt a replacement this weekend.

I've found a guide to removing the glovebox, I'm assuming there's not much more than that as there's no specific guides for the airbag.

Yeah they're the same. Pull the globebox off and you've got access to it.
