Title: Sound of water from passenger sill

Does anyone know how to clean out the drainage on a mk5/mk6? When we’ve had rain I can hear water swooshing back and for from the passengers sill area.. when I park up I can also see it leaking out from just behind the front passenger tyre. Anyone else had this problem?

That's either sunroof drain (if fitted), crud behind the wheel arch liner trapping moisture or leaves/crud blocking the scuttle drain.

Yeah, no sunroof so it isn’t that. Any idea how to clean it out?
