Title: Oil pressure stop ???

My gti is coming up oil pressure stop engine on clocks so I’ve done a oil and filter change on it and still sane any one know what the problem is and how to sort it ??? Thanks

Sounds like it could be a blocked oil pickup pipe. Quite well documented issue on these engines. They can be cleaned out and the sump re-sealed to sort usually.

Yes - blocked oil pick up is common, first place to look

That and also cracked/broken seal rings on the cam actuator as I had both

Thanks been told oil pick up so will drop sump and have a look how do I find out if pump is ok thanks really appreciate your help

did you check your oil pick up pipe?   was it clogged?
