Title: What is this thin loose hose for?
Post by: fsgti on September 23, 2022, 12:16:04 am
This has been lieing around in my engine bay not connected to anything for a while now.

Anyone know what it's for and/or where it should be connected?

Many Thanks

I assume you have a turbo, and can only think it is a line that was used for a gauge.

Agree with this. There is a grommet which lets you thread the pipe into the cabin behind the dash on the passenger side.

Yup the car does have a turbo. Maybe one of the previous owners used it for a gauge. Would this cause a boost leak of some sort if I leave it loose?

Block the end at least, screw bolt etc

I bet if you trace it back into the car it will go nowhere.

Curious to see, I'll have to check it out soon.
