got my mk5 gti
after 5k rpms does a strange noise.
clutch replaced last year.
pulls normal,even with that noise  :thinking:

Sounds likes it ready for the scrap yard m8.....

Use a scan tool and come back with the codes.

p0139 lambda s bank1
p1114 bank 1 sensor 2 slow response
p0441 emission control inorrect flow

Sounds like something rotational rubbing on something else.

I'd be getting the cam belt/aux belt and such like checked

So its the o2 sensor. Wiring harness or faulty. I'd start with replacing that

Err, 02 sensor won't make a noise like that.  :popcornsoda:

Err p1114 refers to o2 sensor. I said I'd start there checking harnes.

thanks guys,i ll go on 11 to check timing belt and chain as well,also i ve already ordered that o2 sensor and i ll replace it straight,i ll be back with some updates!  :star:
