I restored my headlights just over a year ago now and they are already starting to cloud over.
Freshly restored

I bought the 3M restoration kit off amazon and it worked really well, but i joked/laughed when it said would I like a one off purchase or a subscription to have it delivered every 6 months or so, thinking it would last a bit longer than it has, looks like they weren't joking.
I’m after something a little more permanent, I do a lot of driving at night as I work nights. I am thinking of upgrading to xenons.
Found an adapter, just having trouble tracking down the headlights. Don't have to be genuine but i can't really find any that aren't just “xenon look” Anyone found any lately?

Did you spray some UV laquer over the top after restoration? I noticed when I did mine (also with the 3M kit) there was a really tough layer on the top which took ages to sand off. Not sure if it was factory or a previous owner sprayed something on.
Oh well, if it's an annual thing, so be it. The Xenons do exactly the same thing though, so not worth upgrading for that reason, or for increased light output because they're pretty lame tbh. Barely any brighter than the halogen headlights.

I had the same but lights were much worse. Ended up buying a new DEPO aftermarket halogen set, no complaints and look far better, haven't clouded at all after 2 years.
