Title: UnderBoost Code P0299
Post by: Shielsy on November 21, 2022, 04:38:30 pm
Hey I just changed my Diverter valve from a Revision D to a Revision G but since then I have gotten the code P0299 which indicates a boost leak of some sort the car is actually quieter with the revision g now and feels to be losing some boost at the higher rpms when travelling motorway speeds. Can anyone point me in the right direction ? Currently running stage 1 with decat and oversized ram air intake

100% the bolts were done up tight and the electrical connection is seated properly?

I didn’t fit the dv myself I brought it to mechanics and let him put it up on the ramp and install it as it was easier than jacking the car up but think I might have to jack it up and just double check can’t say for sure if they’re tight and if electrical connections are okay

I found the best position to do this on was lie underneath the raised passenger hub (jacked and axle stands), with the passenger wheel off. You get decent access to all three bolts like this.

Great Thanks for the help 👍 do yous think the fault code could be due to an issue with the new DV or anyone else have any other ideas also changed the pcv
