Title: Brake Servo - 1K2614106G
Post by: Olli34 on December 05, 2022, 11:10:04 pm: I am looking for a replacement brake servo (part no. 1K2614106G) for my 2005 MK5 GTI. I have been advised by my local VW dealer that VW stopped producing the part a couple of years ago. The equivalent part for a left-hand drive vehicle is still being produced and available. Does anyone on here know if the two are interchangeable or, if not, where else I can source a replacement (either OEM or from a reliable third party manufacturer)? Thanks.

Post by: pudding on December 06, 2022, 06:24:28 am: I have a brand new RHD servo and gasket in my cupboard. Bought it some years ago to fix a hissing noise but never got around to it.

Post by: pudding on December 06, 2022, 11:16:00 am: I've got a massive pile of stuff to sell as I don't have a GTI anymore, so happy to sell it. Bear in mind they were £250+vat several years ago when they were available, so I won't let it go for peanuts. Sure you don't want a used one off ebay?
