Title: help Needed on drivers seat
Post by: foxyland on December 12, 2022, 01:54:42 pm
I have been having some issues with my drivers seat sliding when folding forward, i have checked the usual suspect and the cable clip and cable are fine.. the seem to move the leaver on the rail  as expected..

on rare occasions the seat did work, until the other day i couldn't even slide the seat to adjust it for my Girlfriend to drive, on further inspection a small silver block in the rails appears to have broken away from the plastic piece...

I've tried to search online for a spare or what it is even called.. any help would be gratefully appreciated... Ive even tried looking for replacement seat, but i have beige leather and they seem to be very few and far between i also need new front seat belts if anybody can help (also beige)

I would identify where it came from by comparing it with the passenger seat - suspect it would be a general Golf part you could potentially source from a scrap yard
