Title: My forged FSI engine EA113 rattles a lot (video included)
Post by: Ucefkh on March 20, 2023, 06:22:45 am
Hello guys,

My mk5 GTI BPY engine 2007 has been rebuilt and almost a year now, i had this rattling noise from the top of the engine around the cams..

Everything is forged besides the cams and rocker arms(they were not changed) so i have been struggling to locate or find cause of this rattling noise!

Please check the videos(one is a cold start and second is a warm one after a drive!

Please help!

Should I change the cams? Rocker arms? Lifters?

New chain! New belt, timing checked with the metal piece you do timing from ecs tuning! All checks out

What would it be?
