i have an annoying creaking sound coming from front of car
i recently had steering rack replaced and thought it sounded like some plastic rubbing near steering column?
it seems to be getting more annoying, after a google a lot of people say its the anti roll bar bushes!
im a total novice with fixing cars and normally send it to garage! is it a hard job for me to remove the anti roll bar??
I've read that once its off, the plate is crimped on to get to the bushes so need to drill through to get access to change bushes?
if i can get the bar off the car easy enough i will give it a go at replacing the bushes just wonder how hard it is to remove?

It will be those or the top mounts.

I had creaking sounds over mild bumps from the front of my GTI recently......everything was solid and fine
For me it ended up being the poly bushed control arms being dry, as I had not silicone greased them in a couple of years.....fine now but a possibility depending on your setup.

Yep, another reason why I keep blathering on about poly having no place on a road car
My SuperPro consoles dried out, as well as the eibach arb bushes. It used to sound like a creaky old mansion door over speed humps.

Yep

All quiet after a bit of silicone lub LOL
