I have fitted an ITG intake to my ed30 and have a fluttering kind of noise on hard acceleration from the intake, not a constant suction noise. Is this normal or is my intake pipe pulling in air from an under tightened hose clip ??
I have been round all the clips and i think they are all pretty tight, dont want to over tighten just in case i overhaul or break the clips ?
The car is pulling hard but just wandering if anyone else is hearing the same noise as me
Kev.

it will be the dump valve noise  u get that noise from open cone filters
-
I dont think its the dump valve, the noise i am talking about is when i have the throttle wide open, not during gear changes or coming off the throttle.

Is that a normal noise then Al ? Was going to go round tightening up my clips a bit further but after hearing that video, it sounds exactly the same as mine

Neither link works currently.
Mine makes a noise similar to how you describe it.
It's perfectly normal.

Its perfectly normal pal, its the boost being modulated by the ECU and its various valves to keep it at the requested levels

That's how mine sounds, but mine is a little louder

If this noise was to vanish on a ITG fitted car what would be the cause of this and have i got a problem
