If an ED30 stg2+ with 370hp where to do a 50 roll with an S3 stg2+ 370hp
who is winning? im pretty sure the ED would walk the s3
-
Probably, but I think the reality is that in most real world scenarios, the S3 is going to be faster. Less fun, but faster.
Not sure whether the likes of the Leon Cupra 2x0 cars are much better at getting the power down, despite also being FWD. The come with a slippery diff of some kind out of the box, like the Mk7 Performance but they also get the big turbo motor.

im yet to see a video of an s3 beating an ed30 both tunes to the same stg, so im bias

From a standing start? It depends what you want, things like 100-200 aren't that relevant to me...!
-
s3 are only good for 0-100 bc awd, the ed30 in general is just faster mid and top end
-
The S3 has 150Kg extra weight to accelerate. A lighter car gapping a heavier one isn't superiority, it's elementary physics you learn at school.
Why not have a more manly and meaningful comparison. Try beating a 370hp Civic Type R round a track in an ED30.

From standstill s3 would be going for it but rolling i think the ed30 will walk all over it
-
Need to get one of each on Officially Gassed to settle it. I bet there would be a lot more S3 volunteers than ED30

update on this, i raced my mates s3 and won was a 60 roll
-
60 to what speed, and how many car lengths lead are we talking?
In my book, if the lead car pulls away like I'm stood still, that is a proper and decisive arse handing. I can't be doing with this whole creeping forward a car length or 3 as that's nothing. All manner of variables can account for that.
