Title: 2006 GTI wont start, just a faint click at the starter

Hey there, GTI owner from New Zealand
@006 GTI went to start and just a faint click at the starter. Checked the battery all ok, starter motor maybe?? any ideas would be appreciated

Sounds like the battery still too me.

Was it tested under load?

Hi, im also from nz.

Just like what @mjmallia (https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=2133) said, battery could be the problem.
Have you tried checking the voltage?
Had the same problem before, battery shows green but voltage was too low to crank.
