I assume you've done enough miles to know that the guage should be reading less than full?

Access for the intank pump/fuel level float is under the rear bench seat. You could check if the float is stuck and free it if that's the case.

The fuel gauge dropped to zero after a few miles, I turned the car off and on again and it went back to full, and it’s not dropped since. I’ve done about 40 miles and it’s not moved at all. :( also the digi fuel gauge still reads 335 miles to fill up.

Have you done a VCDS or another OBD2 scan for error codes?

It'll either be the level sender on the pump housing (most likely) or the gauge itself (less likely).

Pop the pump out and with the ignition on, move the float by hand and see if the gauge moves accordingly.
