Title: Are mk5 and mk6 gearboxes the same for 1.4L Petrol 5-speed?

Hi everyone

Currently driving a 1.4L 2009 mk6 5-speed petrol Golf. The gearbox needs replacing and I'm wondering if a mk5 gearbox from a 1.4L Petrol mk5 2009 Golf be used in its place?

Any help relating to the issue would be greatly appreciated
