Title: Turbo Replacement - Herts.

Hi all,

I have a 2005 MK5 GTi that unfortunately is starting to stutter when putting down the pedal with occasionally the error code P0171 (system too lean) resulting once the EM light comes on.  A local mechanic has looked it stating that he thinks the turbo is wearing out and leaking oil into the intercooler and thus the turbo needs replacing.

Can anyone recommend a good engine mechanic in Herts ? who potentially could replace the turbo ?

Conscious its not going to be cheap so be great not to get ripped off.

The Car has done 116k and is a 2005 GTI.

Appreciate any recommendations
