Title: MK5 DSG MFSW to replace MK5 Manual MFSW steering wheel
Post by: ZoliWorks on June 18, 2024, 10:45:13 pm
I'm looking to buy a multi function GTI steering wheel (picture attached) but they either come with no buttons or the come with paddles and buttons.

My car has a standard multi function wheel with 8 buttons. Would this DSG wheel be a direct swap or will it throw paddle errors and/or buttons wouldn't work?

If your car already has buttons then it's a straight swap. Just be mindful of error codes on dash that need clearing using vcds after fitted. Mainly steering angle sensor

Alright, thanks.

My car is manual, that's my main concern. Curious if it would throw paddle errors or if it will just act as if those didn't exist
