Title: Mk6 Golf R Swap
Post by: TimHymers on August 18, 2024, 06:18:07 am
Hi Guys,
I have Mk6 Golf R swapped my Mk5 GTI. I have done the engine, trans, AWD, suspension, brakes and interior. Basically everything thats not an exterior item..
The car is running and driving and most things are working, but I need to sort the head and tail lights.
The connectors are different on the Mk6 and as i’m running the Mk6 wiring loom I need to de pin the connects and swap the plugs over from the Mk5 loom. Does anyone have wiring plans they can share for the head and tail lights?
Thanks

Well done, thats quite the retrofit  :happy2:

If you can't find a leaked ELSA wiring diagram source, one of those AutoData type online manuals will probably suffice. They're cheap with a 1 month subscription, which should be enough time to do what you need to do.
