Title: K03 turbo actuator.

Does anyone know if the turbo actuator on a 2005 GTI can be replaced is situ or does the turbo need to be removed?

fwiw I had my oem actuator replaced with a forge one on my 2006 gti without needing to remove the turbo.

Can be done but it's a pain in the ass. Much easier to remove the turbo to replace it and adjust it that way
