....So do I sometimes but you can undo the diagonal easily (apparently).

Yeah but it'd be a bit of an arse to undo that every time I wanted to get into or out the car. It's bad enough trying to open the boot from the inside. I need a boot release button.

Post by: cmdrfire on January 09, 2009, 11:58:05 am: It's a rubbish waste of time for poseurs only. Dan GSR on GolfMkV gave it a thorough bashing. It will do absolutely nothing to increase the stiffness of the (already-very-stiff) platform. It's too high and too far forward of the rear struts to do any good, and the diagonal piece adds nothing.

tl;dr: avoid.
