Title: Old style boot release badge
Post by: NDGTI on December 13, 2024, 11:43:23 am
Hi all
I have a 2005 gti , obviously the old style flush boot release
Has anyone refurbished theirs ??
I really want it blacked out, but apparently you can’t buy anything for the older version, so was hoping someone has some ideas or has blacked out one
 :happy2:

I replaced mine with a Mk6 and then changed the chrome clip on VW for a black version.

Yes.  A Mk6 Golf shares a lot with the Mk5.

That catch is a direct swap

Here is mine with a colour coded rear and black clip on VW emblem

I have since changed it again, but left it un-colour coded
