Title: Engine power loss and loud with misfires

I was driving my 2008 gti at decent speed when suddenly the engine light flashed indicating misfires. I then came to a stop and tried to get going again and the engine started to sound unusually loud and I wasn’t getting much power.
Any thoughts on where I could start? Maybe the hpfp or in tank fuel pump? Could it just be the fuel injectors or coil packs?

Hi Evander,
Did it throw any codes? And what light flashed on the dash, check engine? And have you or someone else done any work on the car recently?
