Title: Wheel Refurb
Post by: MWR on January 10, 2025, 11:38:26 am
I’m new here—hope you’re all doing great! 🙂

I have a set of wheels that need refurbishing. I found a company called Mario's Wheel Repairs https://www.marioswheelrepair.co.uk/ They’re quoting £340 for a standard paint job on 4 wheels and £390 for a diamond cut finish.

I’ve been trying to compare prices, but it seems like a lot of companies don’t list their prices online. £340 feels a bit pricey to me—does anyone know of a place where I could get this done for less? I would love to hear your recommendations!

Cheers!

I used Aerocoat in Norfolk, lots of info and prices on their website.

Went for black instead of the original grey on my 18 inch monzas, they did a cracking job.

I've used Lepsons in Gillingham several times, and they do a very nice job of the diamond cut Monza 2s.

Last time I used them it was about £120 for a single wheel (damaged by an incompetent tyre fitter).

You haven't said where you're based. These guys in Birmingham are about as cheap as it gets:

https://www.citywheelrefurbishment.co.uk/

Prices start from £30 a wheel, that's powder coat finish. See their website for all the options.

I used them on my Subaru, the wheels were very poor. They did an ok job, not perfect but I can't complain at that price.
