Hi all...
I was fitting xenon headlights and have no the difference in pins in the sockets.
The car has 9 pins and the xenon has 11 Pins....
Will a 10 to 12 Pins adapter be OK to get these new xenon headlights working
Also I was told that the after market headlights (Angel eyes) fail the mot...... Any advice is needed
Cheers

The angel eyes lights also look like ass. They have 5 T5 halogen bulbs in them that are supposed to light it up. During the day, all you're gonna see are the 5 dots. during the night, the 5 dots become more visible with a faint circle around. Ugly af imo.
Just use led's (ONLY IF YOU HAVE PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS, NOT REFLECTORS) rather than convert to xenon. Dont need to mess with the wiring or try to get auto leveling to work. Before every MOT, you just swap bulbs if needed.
Dont know how things are there, but here if you have xenon's and you dont have headlight washers and auto leveling, they take away your registration and you have to swap back to halogen and get your car re-inspected.

Those adapters should be fine, the extra wire is if you want them to work in bi xenon. The wire has to be connected to a module inside the car and then coding.
With out the wire connected you just have dip beam xenon.
I got the bi xenon function working on my last car but not got round to it yet on my latest car.
