Title: DEALER CALL: Cam belt needs doing?!

Hi all,

I had a call off the dealers today informing me that my car is now nearly 4 years old (longest I've owned a car! LOL) anyway they said my CAM BELT will need changing and they have a deal on at £280.00!  :surprised: - btw I have 60K on the clock

Questions:

1. Does it need doing?

2. Is that a fair price?

3. What does the process involve?


Any help / advice appreciated  :happy2:

I had mine done at 58K by an independent VW specialist for £200
