Title: Body/shell/chassis differences

Would love a sunroof in my eddy but don’t want to sell and buy another one, was looking at an option of buying any mk5 version with a sunroof and doing a shell swap…. Cheapest options obviously the best so does anybody know if all mk5 shells and underneath are the same? If not then I would buy a gti with a sunroof and just do it that way as the shells will definitely be the same. Be interesting to see and if anybody else has done something similar

I have never understood with mk5 golfs why a sunroof is so desirable, it's must not have for me.
