as the title suggests I have a weird ticking noise and I wondered if anyone here knew what it was. I noticed it last night. I went out for a drive and stopped and I thought it was something outside the car in the wind blowing, but when I turned the ignition off, I realised that you were something internal. The engine doesn't have to be on for it to make this noise and it doesn't happen when the keys are in and not clicked round to the ignition on position.
