Title: URGENT ! front shock to hub bolt snapped

hi all,

in the process of changing a broken front spring and top mount. the shock to hub mount bolt has snapped, theres a local breakers yard to me, does anyone know if the hub is the same on a standard golf mk5 to a gti one?  thanks

As long as it looks the same ---, as the lesser spec Golfs have the brake carrier integral to the hub where as the GTI has seperate carriers. Wheel bearings are different too.
