Anyone else noticed that the Focus ST brakes 'look' identical to the Mk5 R32 and S3 8P setup? I noticed this the other day

I noticed that a while ago, I did some looking into - I seem to remember the discs were a different size............... Would be worth some investigation.
:happy2:

When I had my ST the discs from ford are £80 for the pair :happy2: but they are only 321mm, The caliper is the one used on the R32/S3 a split single piston caliper.

Yes noticed this having spent many hrs painting the ST calipers on my old car.
When S3's were being fitted to mine, noticed they looked very similar
( thanks again Dave, brakes are ace!) :happy2:

i have seen an Opel/Vauxhall with same caliper

Jake I think the vectra vxr uses them aswell but with 341mm disc.

Yep it's the same ATE caliper with a different hub fitment. ATE make a sh*t load of calipers for a lorra different car manufacturers!
