might be the most obvious thing in the world, but I cant seem to get into the convenience menu, or if I even have one, lol.
only got the golf this week, and happened to have a flick through the manual, and noticed u can go in and change how long you want ur lights to stay on etc.
was fiddling about and dunno what I done but managed to make my lights come on when I unlock the car.
any info on this would be much appreciated.
cheers
appologies if its such a stupid thing to be stuck with, :signLOL:

at the end of the wiper stalk thier is a flick switch, just flick and hold it up or down for a few secs and this should bring up the menu..not sure how you do it if you have a mfsw thou

On a MFSW there is a button to shuffle between the setup menus.

Apologies if this insults your intelligence but the convenience menu is only available on cars with a highline display (the one that shows a plan view of your car when doors are open). If you have the midline (half height) the menu isn't available ...

I think your lights may have come on due to them being on the auto setting and it was dark...
