Title: Camera Advice

Could really do with a bit of advice as I'm unsure what to do.

Basically my wife has broke my SLR its a Canon 350d and now I've got the choice pay for it to be fixed Jessops wont give me a price just say it's £40 to send it away for estimate and could be anything from 4 to 6 weeks :( So i've no idea on cost or timescale :(

the other option is cut my loses and buy a new camera possibly the Canon 450d as i have lenses and other equipment for the 350d. Are the any other manufactures i should look at i've always stuck with Canon but will my lenses be ok on another manufatures camera?

hope this all makes sence.

i bet you can get a 400d body for less than 200 quid now! ;)

changed me mind now and gettin the canon 1000d.  :happy2:

Well the wife treated me to the 1000d couldnt justify the extra £100 for the 450d and i got a spare lens with the 1000d :)
