Title: A little question about 3m di noc
Post by: gobbleplease on April 13, 2010, 12:17:03 pm
Just wondering if I've been bumped! I spent 20 squid on some 3m Di noc although the sticky back on it is just brown ? and doesn't have the 3m emblem on it ?? It's not vinyl either it's a sticky cloth type stuff although the quality is very good it's just not as sticky as I thought it would be. Is this the correct stuff.

not sure really, i should have a matt cloth feel to it but mine came with 3m backing on it...  it doesnt actually feel that sticky but does take a really good hold.  try it on and you will see

Doesn't sound like the stuff I've had.  Compared to normal graphics vinyl it is stiffer and has grooves on the rear to let air out. Did my laptop yesterday.

Chris.

Where did you get it from? Was it sold as 3M? If it's being passed off as 3M then I'd appreciate if you could let me know where you ordered it so that I can pass the details on to our anti-countfeiting guys.

if it helps i can supply you with a spray glue designed for vinyls, bodywork safe... but might be better to have the right vinyl in the first place?
