What did you do to sort it? Did you need another rack? If so, how much?

I have the same noises and they're driving me nuts, but not to the point where I want to shell out many hundreds of pounds for a new steering rack!

Ive tried to post about this problem before on mine, today was the first time i had chance to get the front end up on axle stands to have a look, the problem with mine was the dust cover over the original damper, it was compressed and wedged up at the top of the strut causing it to rub and judder when turning from lock to lock, just need to take the shock off, compress spring and release the rubber boot

Just something to check before you replace the rack
