Title: Finally got myself a mans Golf GTI

Well folks after owning a MK5 Gt-Sport 140 diesel for a year i decided a diesel wasnt for me so i ordered a 2.0Tsi Scirocco then 2 weeks ago i was offered a GTi for a stupid price so i took a visit to the bank and finally got myself a proper Golf :grin:

I wasnt going to put up pics until ive made a few changes but today i was bored so i went for a spin with the camera

So here she is a 07 Golf GTi in the fastest colour

All standard for now other than a Revo remap which i had done 2 days after owning it :rolleye:

Thats a lovely car mate and looks like it been well looked after :happy2:. Is that an R32/Cupra front brake set up aswell?

Brakes look standard to me

Very nice clean car mind you, bet your pleased with that.

Cheers folks i absolutely love it. Its in really good nick just had the alloys changed under warranty a week before i got it. There are one or two marks but nothing major and nothing a good detail wont sort out :smiley:

RobH they are the standard brakes mate. Well for now anyway :evilgrin:

ChungE was a real worthwhile upgrade the GTi is a 100% nicer car imo than the Gt i had previously the engine is just so smooth and responsive and the car just feels nicer on the road. But the main surprise is that im getting around 26mpg around town out of it and in the Diesel i was getting 28mpg-30mpg so its not that much different im just able to drive the GTi much smoother than i could drive the diesel :surprised:

Looks stunning mate, body work looks like its in tip top conditions!  Glad to see another pearl black GTI which is clearly fastest colour, even when standing still!  :happy2:
