Title: My Black GTI

Hey, new forum and any excuse to post some pics.

This is my 05 Gti which i have owned since 5 months old.

I've done a few things to finish the car off;

Edition 30 rear valance
Smoked r32 rear clusters
Colour coded skirts and front valance
Black front VW badge
Open fog grills

And on the inside I've added the RNS-510 head unit

Thanks for the comments guys.

It is well looked after, don't know if it's the car or the colour but ocd hit me big time with this one.

As far as products used, it's just wearing a coat of collinite 476 which I used yesteray for the first time in 18 months and was very impressed with the finish. Also used in the wheels with megs enduranc gel on the tyres.

Welcome Ryan, as ive said before, "The Best" Black GTi ive seen. Mint to put it mildly!!!.

Nothing wrong with having a squeeky clean GTi. The reflection can get very addictive.

That's the second cleanest Black GTI I've ever seen Winyra  :wink: :laugh:

I've thought about it alot but I've never been able to decide whether i like it or not.  I think its a bit low and doesnt match up with the skirts.  Always looked a little big imo although the one in the for sale section has had me thinking again  :laugh:

Wow - that's got to be the cleanest car I have ever seen.  I'm picking up a metallic black GTI on Tues/Weds this week.  Thinking I should be investing in some of this Collinite stuff!  Any other tips?

Also I'm by no means a 'mods' man.  I'm all about the standard build and would never tinker but I must give credit here, very nice car, minor touches do look good (never thought I would say that!).

I agree mate, I wonder if the paintwork is still that good? Amazing......just amazing  :congrats:
