Title: Clutch pedal sticking!
Post by: Tfsi_Mike on April 18, 2010, 02:44:54 pm: This morning my clutch pedal has started sticking half way down. Having to put my foot under it and pull it back up.

Only thing thats changed is the BSH mounts, Ive been driving it since I had them fitted though and was fine until this morning.

Any one know whats wrong?

Yea. Although I dont have the pressure plate as the wrong one turned up. So far so good though!

Post by: djhorace on April 30, 2010, 05:44:23 pm: Mine did this after the clutch was changed, but I re-bled the clutch pumping the pedal, and some black stuff came out. Been fine since.

I changed the slave cylinder in the gearbox when the clutch was changed.

yes mate. When I get the diff I'll definately be having the lot. Not that the plate alone has struggled.

Im going to get the cover plate and clutch plate done on tuesday

seat was "unable to reproduce" the issue when they changed my master cylinder yet when i drove home from the deal it done it...

i have got used to it now :( will most likely put up with it till i fit a new uprated clutch.

my adui tech mate said its the pressure plate not springing back once its been depressed but i dont think thats accurate as the pedal goes all soft before i put my foot down.

o well, just another week vag part to add to the list
