Title: Is it just me who cant post threads in detailing?

haha! i cant seem to kick the detailing section into life! i got an error!

i seem to write a thread...

and then as soon as i press post i get...

The precondition on the request for the URL /forum/index.php evaluated to false.

Apache/2.2.3 (Red Hat) Server at www.mk5golfgti.co.uk Port 80




And then i cant get on the forum for like 10 minutes with any browser...almost like the Forum Server is blocking my IP??

Thats very odd!  is it a long post? could be a firewall blocking communications on port 80, bit odd if its just the detailing section! and not anywhere else.

Try posting it in the one ive started see if its starting a thread or if you can reply?  Or try shortening it down! sounds like a question for a Mod who can also delete my point-less post in the detailing section!  :ashamed:

i get that from time to time, various areas of the forum, normally when using the quick reply though

Ive seen the same, it can be where a post has multiple url's , and yes you get no access for a short period.
Steve was looking into the hosts settings  :happy2:
