just noticed last night that my fuel pump hisses after i turn the engine off, i have the autotech fuel pump. ive read on another forum that its normal due to the friction boiling the gas?!   and is normal.

 anybody shed any light??

oh and the car is running absolutly fine, pulling harder than ever!
-
Might just be the pressure dropping back to ambient after the car has stopped as its a pressurised system when running?

-
i think what i really want to know is if anybody elses does it.

-
				nobody????

-
Not noticed mine doing it, I still have the standard pump right now.

Oh, and no, mine doesn't hiss.
I wonder if your HPFP ring seal could be starting to leak as your upgrade re-uses the old pump ring.
-
Who fitted it ? How loud is it ?
