Darren is correct. You can simply use some paint remover (or high grit abrasive paper) on your red needles leaving you with clear, then replace the red led's with blue to give you the R32 look at a cost of about £5
Simples

I have a Highline R32 cluster for sale.
You can use the front of that cluster with the back of your own cluster to get the Blue needles and white dials.
Its plug and play :)

How? The circuit board is all one piece, with the LED's and display soldered on. You could pull the needles and dial faces off, but that wouldn't give the white/blue illumination. Also, the dials would need coded with VCDS on to the new car if you wanted to use them as is.

Out of interest though, how much would you want for the cluster? I could be tempted by the highline

Its 2 piece.
Front piece houses all the display leds, dials, stepper motors etc.
Rear piece the immo and controls.
No need to pull needles off etc.

Will put it up for sale seperatley in the classifieds.

Really? How odd, my (midline) clusters are all fixed together on 1 piece
