Title: How does a thicko take a screen shot.
Post by: Top Cat on April 28, 2010, 11:11:53 pm
When i was in work today, i was having a problem with a page so the helpful techie chap told me to take a screen shot.
he said just press the PrtSC button then go to the your email, right click then paste. I did and it worked fine. Tried it tonight on my home PC and it doesn't work.  :chicken:

So how do i do it chaps.  :ashamed:

Thank s guys.  :notworthy:

Is there a quicker way of doing it rather than uploading it as a pic. Seems a bit long winded.  :happy2:

Some other forums have the ability to upload images directly to a post, but these ones require you to upload somewhere else, then link to the image using the img button.

Photobucket is ok, but www.imgur.com is my favourite by far.

Actually just Alt+PrintScreen will capture the present open window...

Yeah depends which email client you use TC. For example, Outlook which uses MS Word as its default email editor can embed images like that whereas some others won't  :happy2:

You've got the right key combination though
