Title: Faulty aircon
Post by: TonyZed on April 30, 2010, 02:04:17 pm
Has anyone else had a problem with their aircon not taking a charge?

I've been told it doesn't work although I can hear the pump cut in. Vagcom reports "low pressure" but it won't take a charge. I am going back to Kwikfit to see if they can let me know what they found, but they are not to bright in there. :indifferent:

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

A few people have reported issues with the compressor last year and most end up having this replaced  :sad1:

I'm hoping mine doesn't need a compressor, VW said around £1000 if it does!!

I bought the car 3 months and one day ago, guess how long the warranty was for.... :sad1:
