Title: Hey everybody, its spot the new boy time

Just purchased an 2008, manual 3dr CW ED30 so thought id sign up. Bagged some bits already via the ads!

Some of you might of spotted the Ed30 on ebay. It was a cat d, basically the interior, front bumper and wheels where stolen off a dealers forecourt (also damage to the door skin). The cost of replacing made it un-economical to repair. Took a bit of a gamble but very happy with the car. Spoke to the original owner who confirmed the story and it hadnt been driven which clinched the deal.

It replaces a Mk5 TDI Sport 140 and will be my 36th :wink: Golf. Plan on keeping it long term in addition to my 77 mk1.

Will start a build thread when I have the time.

36th golf, well cheating 33 plus 3 corrados! In one year had 8 Mk2's, took me a while to find one I liked.

Genuine Brembo GT kit, 4 pots 330mm x 28mm discs. Pretty light and stop well!

Think ive pulled it off this time, allowing me to own a car that otherwise I couldn't of justified the expense.
