Title: Remote boot release

My fob has the boot release button but it doesn't do anything, I have to unlock the car twice as per passenger door to unlock the boot.

Was the remote boot release an option when new?

If you hold it down, it unlocks only the boot so when you open it and then close it, it automatically locks the boot.

SteveP I believe fitted a kit which popped the boot open.
